I have the feet of my fursuit properly finished save for one thing, this time they'll stay together but I still need to get "rubber" for the pads, I know what kind I want, I just don't wanna walk to walmart for a buck purchase, hobby lobby either, its a long freakin walk...Next is the head using a method i found on youtube coupled up with my knowledge from last con, I WILL have my fursuit by RCFM, and probably sooner!

In 2 weeks I'm about to change systems, it'll be older but it is going to be a mac, a G3 Power PC...the color is supposed to mean something, but I have no idea what that is for a sorta "blue green" setup, but I'll find out soon. Heres hoping it'll work |

*takes a few moments to dust, vacume and flap away cobwebs* There, Anyw...ack, *sprays spider virus with Trend Micro Bug Spray, then stomps the corpse into ash* ok lets try this again, the original reason I was coming in here besides reading my friends page (Nice car BTW Gothcat) is to tell you, Universal studios has finally done what all amusment parks should have done long ago...created a way to eat cheaply in their parks! They have created a thing called a "Meal Ticket"..its 25 bucks, 35 if you want Unlimited Drinks too, and gets you food from 3 places per park, total of 6 resturants, to eat at all through the entire day your there...thats 70 bucks for a weekend, unmlimited food...Universal just became a buffet with Rides!...there are 3 things to note with this: One - you hafta make multiple trips thoruhg the lines to get full, they limit you to one entree and one desert per trip through the lines but no limit on the ammount of trips. This can be annoying but not unmanagable. Two: you gotta wear a braclet after exchanging it for your original meal ticket (This is mostly for me, I hate things on my wrists to the point I buy pocket watches) and 3, it only works at 3 specific resturants in each of the 2 parks. This also isn't a problem, as it frees up your allocated food money to buy the yummys like Roasted Turkey Legs...pardon me a moment (pauses to wipe of drool) combine it with the 85 dollar 2 day ticket and your set! Imagine, excluding cost to get TO the park, going to and eating INSIDE the park only costing you 155 for a weekend of food, fun and family...if..you go with your family...hehe..ok so food and fun for most of us. Still not a bad dealy. I'm plotting to go sometime before my birthday, or maybe even over my birthday, who knows. Anyone want to come? I'm going to make Dan go lol. |

Why is it the only time I post anything good it's never involving me.....for now, i've basicly learned the only way I can enjoy playing games, is to not play them....sounds dumb huh? basicly heres my problem...no matter how good it seems I get at games of any sort, I only win when others get completly screwed. Yugioh is a prime example of this. RPGs? pfft....I'm comic relief no matter what I do... board games? I win when opponents get cocky and make dumb mistakes... Video games? only when I cheat...or get frustrated enough to nearly break something (either the game, console, or myself) and someone walks me through whats frustrating me...
Honestly, what am I doing wrong? I can't believe that under no circumstances am I supposed to win when anyone else has the chance. I swear I'm about to just quit all together, sit in my room and do nothing. Seems to work better then doing anything, alot less frustrating. |

Well, offically, until I can come up with a concept to stick to my tabletop d12 system, I'm no longer attempting to produce games........I can't afford it...ever...for example. I thought about maybe getting something together to toss into a conbag at MFM, something cheap and easy...however If i let Kinkos do it (the only way to get the image to print right mind you) to print enough to acctually fill conbags is 2500...before cutting it.....so estimate 3k just to print and cut it for me...I could never afford that without some other buisness backing me.....so, I guess lapdog games is offically a dead idea, like all the rest of my plans....Sometimes I wonder weather I should just roll over and let the world do as it will, because my efforts to do anything seem to get crushed every time... |

Ok heres what I got...now it doesn't do anything for those already here, and its akin to building a dam infront of a big river at the moment without stopping it, but here goes.
First, build a large, thick wall, at least 25 feet high...the kind you can have people patrol from on top of....then only have entrances and exits where you know where they are...then, search EVERY car coming in and out (also, do appologize to canada for the inconviniance, and blame mexico)...then have the men patroling those walls (ensure they overlap so that noone can sneak through a gap) keep tight watch...if they see a grappling hook (since they probably won't be trying to drill through a 3-4 foot thick wall) lean over with their rifle and say "HEY! PEDRO!...I'M GONNA RECOMEND YOU GO BACK DOWN....WHAT? WHY? WELL CAUSE IF YOU DON'T I HAFTA PUSH THIS HERE HOOK OFF THE WALL, THEN YOU GO DOWN REALLY FAST LIKE!....you think you can get up here before you I do that huh.... HEY PEDRO...YOU DO SEE THE RATHER LARGE RIFLE I'VE GOT RIGHT? THATS TO BE SURE THAT IF THE HOOK DON'T MOVE, YOU DO!"...Don't mince words with 'em...just say it plain as day..though I wager it would have to be in spanish |

now their toying with scooby and shaggy..now they live in a, as WB puts it, Bling'd out mansion, the mystery machine can turn into other vehicles (instead of having, like they did in the 13 ghosts of scooby doo and having multiples) and the scooby snacks have nanotech that gives scooby powers, like flight and turning into a giant robot...anyone else wonder what their going to screw with next? Will speed buggy return, but instead of a dune buggy built on the cheap, he's a corvette crimefighter that was once owned by "the batman"

Well...I'm at another one of my crossroads, unfortunatly this time its worse then usual...
RCFM asked me to make a game...everything was going smooth, until today..today, I priced getting the board printed...cheapest I can do is 25 bucks a board...for 5 boards thats 125 bucks....and thats before any of the costs of the other things..right now, the game would cost aorund 30 just to make....and i can't afford it. I'm looking into alternates for the board but..its starting to look like i'm going to let everyone down again. Should I just quit now, go to the con, enjoy it as best i can and stop trying to make games? i mean every time i try the damned things are too expensive for me to make...i can't make card games, can't make board games..so far the only thing pricing out is RPG's and thats because of companies like "Lulu"....combine that with Joe's "expert opinion" (i.e. deconstructive criticisim) and i'm just ready to quit and relent, just sit in a gas station working there for the rest of my life because theres no other options. Oh and yes, I don't give a shit if he's unhappy about me mentioning it here, its my LJ, deal with it joe. Every time I try to make my situation better, it collapses around me....why...what did I do so wrong..

Still finishing up some last minute details on the board game (i.e. printing stuff) but its a go as well, though i have one lingering question....if i'm flying from norfolk, to huntsville...WHY THE FUCK AM I CONNECTING THROUGH DETROIT!?
It makes no sense to go that far north to go west, i'm going out of my way at least 4 hours! luckily i caught some quick flights, originally was going to take me as long to fly as it did to drive
still one must wonder what logic goes through peoples heads to create such a connection...and its not a hub issue, because EVERY fly was doing it! makes no sense!

I don't know, is it me? Did I forget to evolve, or did applications for roleplay mush's become stupid difficult on the personality? every place I go wants 3 paragraphs of personality...i can barely do 1, i'm not descriptive on personalities. And anyone joking around who says can't describe what you don't have, thank you very much for making this hurt that much more. See, I pride myself on my roleplay, i think i do quite well. But lately...noone will let me because i can't pass their stupid application. nothing with grammer, or capitilization, but just because i "don't put enough info" and always in the personality, never in the background or anything else. My only option appears to be start my own, but i don't want to do that. So i guess i just stop roleplaying anything that requires more then a character sheet....oh well...guess i'm not as good a roleplayer as i thought... |
